This project I designed a Womenswear collection based on the Autumn/Winter '20 trend 'Liquid Print', which is two major print themes collide together to create a new hybrid graphic, when I saw 'Liquid Print' I love the movement of the graphics, how bold it is and  the refreshed warp techniques of animal prints. I could vision many different garments from casual wear to party wear with the liquid print theme. This capsule collection is inspired by the clothing supplier Zero Degree Fashion where they supply a variety of clothes from party wear as well as casual wear, so I would have to discover a trend and colour palette that would be suitable for day to night wear. One of the colour trends for AW20 is 'Citrus Chic Tones' which will work for youth driven streetwear and vibrant party wear. It creates a feel-good appeal and I can see these colours looking fabulous on different fabrics with different textures such as mesh, satin and denim. For this capsule collection, I would like to merge the citrus chic tones and the liquid print to create some unique patterns; I also want to experiment in blending the different colours to get a tie dye effect as well as currently tie dye is very popular and in trend, so I would also love to incorporate that. For this AW20 Capsule Collection, I am going to design a 6 Outfit Line Up with mixtures of party pieces and casual pieces fitting to the trend of 'Liquid Print' and the colour way of 'Citrus Chic Tones'.
