#Tropical Birds: SS21 Boyswear Collection
For this Boyswear project, I researched into C&A's boys jersey wear ranges as they have a wide selection of different styles of joggers and hoodies. My main research was looking into the type of material that was used for the garments, the style details such as type of pockets and cuffs, and how the graphics are applied. I then researched the SS21 Trends for Boyswear with aesthetics and garment styles, this helped me to consider what details and graphics to include in my collection. For this collection, I designed 6 jerseywear outfits with a mixture of colourful summer colours, bold tropical graphics. I wanted to design a collection where you can mix and match different garments together and that are suitable for the age ranges 2 - 12.
This repeat pattern is made up from several illustrations of Tropical Birds I did. For this illustrations, I used Promarkers for the initial bodies of the birds then went into detail with Fine Liners. I produced a variety of different bird illustrations, then scanned them in to create a repeat pattern.
